Similar to the Anchor block extrusion, this long anchor block extrusion is used as an anchor point for the roll pipe in the tarp to fasten against when the tarp is in the fullly covered position.

The added benefit of the long anchor block extrusion is that when the roll pipe comes over the edge of the trailer, the long part of the anchor block acts as a bumper so the roll pipe hits it instead of the side of the trailer. This avoids unsightly marks and even damage to the tarp, roll pipe, or trailer itself.
